Happy Heart Day!

February 14th, 2026

Happy heart day, everyone! I actually really like using the word heart day for Valentine’s Day. Speaking of, a little pet peeve I have is when people call it singles awareness day. Yeah, it is painful being alone, but when you say it like that, it just feels like you’re raining on other people’s fun. I don’t think Valentine’s Day is just for romantic love—if that were the case, then when we were all little ol’ kids in school, giving each other Valentine’s cards would be very weird.

Not related to Valentine’s Day, but I’ve also been playing Silent Hill F lately, and I actually really like how they translate all the Silent Hill-isms to 1960s Japan. I would love to see this kind of format in other periods of time, like maybe a Silent Hill set in the ’80s—that would be pretty interesting. Also, shout out to Silent Hill 4, where you’re just in an apartment for like the whole game.

I’ve also been playing D&D. If you go to the about me section on my personal website, you can see the character I’m playing, and she’s actually really fun. It’s the most fun I’ve had playing D&D. I’m also really attached to her and want to make her a character in the fantasy novel I wanna write. My idea for my fantasy novel will probably be fleshed out more later. but so far what I'm thinking is a retelling of the original Dracula novel in a action fantasy format. Mina is gonna be an emo tiefling wizard.

Right now, I currently feel like that one tweet where it’s like, “I’ve been really getting into yogurt lately,” because that really is me right now—getting into healthy crap lately, being like, “You know what? I am gonna try overnight oats.” I thought I’d never outgrow shit like Lucky Charms. Speaking of health, I’ve been getting into taking daily walks. You know, touching grass and stuff. I’m actually doing this blog via voice-to-text, right now I’m lookin’ like a psycho saying these things out loud while I walk. Voice-to-text is inaccurate, so I always check to see how many typos it made and then I go back to it.
